Disrupt HR Talk, OKC
Dr. Christy Vincent is a communication specialist and executive coach who partners with professionals to strengthen their leadership presence and interpersonal effectiveness. Drawing on decades of experience in organizational development and conflict management, she helps clients clarify the outcomes they desire for their lives and work—and then move toward those outcomes through intentional, practical steps. Christy brings openness, acceptance, and curiosity to each coaching conversation, creating a thoughtful space for reflection, insight, and growth.
Christy holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Oklahoma and a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute at Pepperdine University School of Law. She is Professor Emeritus at the University of Central Oklahoma, where her teaching, consulting, and research focused on communication, leadership, and constructive conflict engagement.
Christy’s life’s work has centered on encouraging people to bring the best of who they are to what they do every day—and helping organizations create environments where that kind of engagement can flourish. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys international travel, hiking, and cycling, experiences that continually renew her curiosity about people, cultures, and perspectives. She and her husband, Don Drew, live in Oklahoma and treasure time with their blended family—a wonderful group of “yours” and “mine” who have become “ours” children and grandchildren.
